Agree the business questions, prepare model descriptions and check sample answers against approved measures. We record the capacity, access and administrator requirements and the checks users should apply before acting on an AI answer.
Acceptance evidence and handover
Compare report totals with an agreed source extract, record exceptions and obtain owner sign-off on the scoped checks. Your team receives the model, measure definitions, access checks and refresh instructions to maintain the reporting after launch.
What does Power BI reporting implementation cost?
Our Trusted Numbers Review is £2,000–£4,000 ex-VAT for a two-week assessment after scope and access are agreed. You receive written findings, a prioritised plan and a separate build proposal. Our typical dashboard build band is £8,000–£14,000 ex-VAT; sources, measures, users and handover determine the fixed quote. Software licences and ongoing support are scoped separately. The review fee is credited to a build agreed within 90 days. Prices and invoices are in GBP.
Do we need Microsoft Fabric to commission Power BI dashboards?
Power BI reporting can use your existing sources and platform. A Fabric lakehouse or warehouse is a separate architecture decision, based on shared data preparation, history, workload and ownership. We assess that need and its running cost before including Fabric implementation in the proposal.
Can you improve our existing Power BI reports?
Yes. The review identifies the models, calculations and reports to retain, adjust or consolidate. You receive priorities and acceptance checks before choosing the implementation scope, including source reconciliation, refresh and access where required.
Where can we see a reporting example and the delivery scope?
Our Power BI consultancy page includes an interactive demonstration with fictional data, explained validation checks, review and build prices, and the project brief we need. The example shows quarter and region comparisons; a commissioned build adds your sources, definitions, access tests and acceptance evidence.
Which licence do our report viewers need?
The workspace and content determine access. Pro workspaces support Pro and PPU users; content in a PPU workspace requires PPU for its viewers. Fabric F64 or larger can support Fabric Free viewers with the required access, while smaller F capacities require paid per-user licences for shared Power BI viewing. We document the author and viewer mix for your proposed deployment.
Can you deliver to a team outside the UK?
Yes. Delivery is UK-based, with remote work offered to the US, Australia and Benelux and enquiries welcome from other countries. Include the reporting decision, existing systems, budget and currency, deadline, country and timezone. We agree meeting overlap, delivery language, access, data-location requirements and support coverage before committing to a project.
